Heya mate,
I can't believe I am actually here. Yes I know, I keep saying it, but it's so hard to believe this is real. I guess the reality will set in once I start working.
Had my first cry yesterday and have been made a member of the 'Tears Club' here at Pax Lodge, there are three members, plus me. Its nice to know I don't have to feel so bad about crying -that said its not something I want to start doing publically.
Had Caro from Germany come in to say hi this morning so I had to talkabout all the photos and things on my wall. It was kinda nice I guess, like introducing everyone I know to my new friends.
Right now I'm sitting just down the road from where I stayed last timeI was in London, I'm probably about three blocks from Hyde Park whichI completely and utterly love. Will be on my regular visits list no doubt.
Sarah my host sister is coming down from Stafford on Friday because she's flying to Africa until September, so I'll be catching up with her at some stage which will be fantastic!! Plus she and her family have invited me up to their house for Christmas...pretty neat really.
Well I have to go, I was going to call earlier but I remembered that the tax man was coming and figured it was definately going to take at least a couple of hours -so decided against that idea. I'll probably call again soon, you know me, I tend to be a creature of habbit.
I think I'll be okay once I get a bit of a routine happening. Take care mate, I know I don't need to say it, but it's amazing how knowing about distance can make missing people so much harder!
Rachael :-)
